Now on youtube. Check out the exhibit, "Between the Fences". Great place, beautiful setting, fun time with great music last Thursday. Twas the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the event. Song behind the pictures is "Bosco Stomp" from Lagniappe's CD "irrational exuberance."

Photos from the Farmstead

Chrisholm Historic Farmstead, that is in Trenton, had Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for "Between the Fences"exhibit. Weather was a little muggy but no rain so the music was played, second lines were followed, and ribbon cutting was the theme. This exhibit lasts a few weeks.
The band even played to a ribbon cutting for a dry compost restroom! (Now there's a sentence, I never thought I'd write. . .)
A nice lady wanted to know how Yvan's washboard worked :)
Chico on the fiddle. It was hot. I got hot just taking photos & the band was really working it but there were nice breezes! Took too many photos to post & will commence to make a slideshow over the weekend. Until next time~~Sophia

Friday at Arnold's
Arnold’s Bar & Grill
210 East 8th, Downtown
513 421-6234
Been a little sleepy around this blog lately but, Lagniappe returns to Arnold's on Friday night. The sun is out, a breeze is blowing, so should be cool time on the patio.

*The bird's eye view looking south across the river, was taken by one of my fave tweeps, photographer Gordon Bombay of http://queencitydiscovery.blogspot.com A fabulous blog on history & current architectural happenings around Cincinnati. He also took some pics of the band last fall, on election night, at Arnold's. (Thanks, Gordon) The band pics here were taken by yours truly.
Don't forget to follow Lagniappe on Twitter (see sidebar) for latest band gigs/schedule changes. Arnold's is on Twitter, too. http://twitter.com/Arnoldsbar
