Busy Weekend Ahead!

This week,  Thursday in Mt. Adams at the Rookwood.  Weather permitting, on the gorgeous dog friendly deck.

 Friday night returns the band to Cincinnati's oldest bar, Arnold's.  Saturday, a music double header  with a Mercy Hospital Charity Event in the afternoon, followed by a night  on a B and B Riverboat cruise.

Then to wrap up the weekend, Father's Day afternoon at Pappadeaux's in Springdale.

Band leader, Chico Converse, is in India for a few weeks, and regular accordionist, Dick Franz, was missing, but the four regulars of Lagniappe:

Yvan Verbesselt, John Mooter, Laura Sabo and Raif Faircloth, were joined by Sadie Faircloth on Accordion/Singer and Mike McIntire of Marmalade Brigade on guitar/singer. Great night of blues and other tunes.

Pappadeaux's was very busy but the people that work there were all very nice and friendly. It was our first time there.

I accidentally left my zoom lens on the camera but did the best I could.  The lighting was dim on the band after dark and I had to resort to using the flash a couple times, of which I am no longer a fan, but sometimes it's necessary!  I'd rather get a slightly out of focus photo on some shots and use the natural light, if possible.  This can result in a grainy photo due to higher ISO speeds but forces me to get creative.

Lagniappe returns on March 29th to Pappadeaux's in Springdale, 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  See ya there!

Meanwhile, I'll leave you with these; Julian Deli's beer & patio  photo courtesy of @5chw4r7z on Twitter! *He and  wife Erin Marie, were bike riding Monday and tweeted me quiet photos from Julian's Deli.  For Lagniappe's gig on Friday, going to be near 100 degrees, so drink lots of ice water, in between beverages of your choice! 

Ok, got to Loveland on a cool summer day, 78 degrees. Took some photos of Julian's patio so you can see the layout.  The three photos under Bob's Instagram, are around the building of Julian's, so if you've never been there, you know the layout.
